At BR.LK, we strive to provide exceptional business registration and company formation services. This Refund Policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds may be issued and the process for requesting them.

Service Categories

2.1 Company Registration Services

  • Before Processing: Full refund available if you cancel before we begin processing with government authorities.
  • During Processing: Partial refund minus government fees and processing charges already incurred.
  • After Registration: No refund available once the company is successfully registered.

2.2 Consultation Services

  • Full refund available up to 24 hours before the scheduled consultation.
  • Rescheduling available up to 12 hours before consultation at no charge.
  • No refund for missed consultations without prior notice.

2.3 Document Preparation Services

  • Full refund if we haven't started document preparation.
  • 50% refund if documents are in draft stage.
  • No refund once finalized documents are delivered.
Important: Government fees, notary charges, and third-party costs are non-refundable once paid to the respective authorities.

Refund Eligibility

You may be eligible for a refund in the following situations:

  • Service Not Delivered: We fail to deliver the agreed service within the specified timeframe.
  • Service Quality Issues: The service significantly deviates from what was promised.
  • Duplicate Payment: You were accidentally charged twice for the same service.
  • Technical Errors: A technical issue on our platform resulted in incorrect charges.
  • Application Rejection: If your application is rejected due to our error or incomplete documentation from our side.

Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:

  • Change of mind after services have been initiated.
  • Application rejection due to inaccurate information provided by the client.
  • Government or regulatory authority fees.
  • Services already completed and delivered.
  • Requests made more than 30 days after service completion.
  • Business name unavailability or rejection by authorities due to naming guidelines.

Refund Request Process

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  1. Submit Request: Email us at legal@br.lk with your order number and reason for refund.
  2. Provide Documentation: Include any relevant supporting documents or evidence.
  3. Review Period: We will review your request within 5–7 business days.
  4. Decision Notification: You will receive an email with our decision and explanation.
  5. Processing Time: Approved refunds will be processed within 7–14 business days.

Pro Tip: Keep all communication and transaction records. This helps expedite the refund process if needed.

Cancellation Policy

6.1 Client-Initiated Cancellations

  • Within 24 hours of payment: 100% refund minus payment processing fees (3%).
  • Before document submission: Full refund minus any costs already incurred.
  • After submission to authorities: No refund, but service credit may be offered.

6.2 BR.LK Cancellations

  • Full refund of all payments made if we cancel for any reason.
  • Reimbursement of any additional costs incurred due to the cancellation.
  • Priority processing if you choose to use our services again.

Payment Method Refunds

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method:

  • Credit/Debit Card: 7–14 business days
  • Bank Transfer: 5–10 business days
  • Digital Wallets: 3–7 business days
  • Cash Payments: Bank transfer within 7 business days

Partial Refunds

In some cases, we may offer partial refunds based on:

  • Percentage of service completed
  • Resources already utilized
  • Third-party costs already incurred
  • Time and effort invested by our team

Partial refund amounts will be calculated fairly and communicated clearly before processing.

9.

Service Credits

As an alternative to refunds, we may offer service credits that can be used for:

  • Future services at BR.LK
  • Additional business services or support
  • Upgraded service packages

Service credits are valid for 12 months from the date of issue and are non-transferable.

10.

Dispute Resolution

If you're not satisfied with our refund decision:

  • Contact our customer service manager at legal@br.lk.
  • Provide additional information or evidence supporting your case.
  • A senior team member will review your case within 7 business days.
  • If still unresolved, we can arrange independent mediation through a third party.
11.

Policy Updates

We reserve the right to update this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be:

  • Posted on this page with a new "Last Updated" date
  • Notified to active clients via email
  • Effective immediately for new transactions
